ThreatAssess was developed to provide professional solutions for the ThreatDetect Program. As the Exclusive ThreatDetect Program Implementation partner, ThreatAssess, provides customers of all sizes, in all sectors and all levels of capabilities a program approach to identify risks and hazards, implement ThreatDetect equipment into plans, policies and procedures, develop customized training for employees and stakeholders and validate the actions and capabilities your organization has established to prepare for, respond to, and recover from All-Hazards Disasters.
The ThreatAssess program, will strengthen and sustain existing goals and priorities, identify areas for improvement and, increase your organization’s awareness on modeling impacts of seriousness, urgency, and growth. Over the 5 year cycle, this program will show the impacts moving forward including financial, reputation and, your desire to ensure your employees, guests and, patrons’ welfare is your primary concern.
This is an onsite assessment at your facility to initially determine the All-Hazard's risks and vulnerabilities. Two risk specialists will arrive onsite at your location, meet with you to discuss and collect historical information, collect assessment data through a physical inspection of the facility, and prepare a report of strengths and gaps, that will be used to develop your comprehensive ThreatDetectProgram. Multi-facility packages available and will be customized based upon your organization's needs.
While ThreatDetect products are being installed, ThreatAssess team members will be reviewing the Risk/Vulnerability Assessment Report and collecting/reviewing plans, policies, and procedures for your organization. Your ThreatAssess Program Manager will provide you with an overview of the analysis and schedule a meeting to discuss organization priorities, sensitivities and develop a roadmap for the next 5 years to show the enhanced capabilities through a multi-year training and exercise calendar. Training in year 1 will consist of two, 8-hour days, with a focus on strengthening two selected capabilities. The training will incorporate the Risk/ Vulnerability Assessment findings, areas for improvement from the review of plans, policies, and procedures and, the new ThreatDetect products. Ideally, the training will be six months apart to allow for additional internal implementation your organization will provide. ThreatAssess will develop and deliver a curriculum customized for each customer’s needs and unique characteristics to provide value to your organization. A minimum of two trainers will be onsite for each training. The number of trainers onsite will vary with the size of the group being trained. Our goal is to optimize participation and ensure your preparedness levels increase.
Within three months of the first onsite training, ThreatAssess team members will have designed and developed a discussion-based exercise for your organization. (Some organizations call them ‘Round Table’ or ‘Tabletop’ exercises) We use the Homeland Security Exercise Evaluation Program (HSEEP) design methodology for all discussion and operations-based exercises, therefore, if you are a public sector customer, you will have proper documentation for funding purposes. For private sector customers, this means that you are getting a very comprehensive discussion-based exercise with exercise materials, facilitation, evaluation and, an After Action Report /Improvement Plan (AAR/IP). Designing exercises using this methodology will provide participants a targeted discussion based upon improving the selected capability.
The ThreatAssess Program Manager will work with your leadership/ program manager and stakeholders you deem necessary to walk them through this process. Each exercise will last a maximum of 6 hours and include a minimum of three ThreatAssess Team members. Each of the two exercises should ideally be conducted within three months of training and each incorporating new capabilities and priorities identified when the program was developed. The AAR/IP will be developed and delivered to the customer within 14 days of the completion of the exercise.
Each year following the Year 1 Implementation Package, the ThreatAssess Program Manager will begin the program cycle again. The Risk/Vulnerability Assessment with the report, One, 8-hour day of training, and One, 6-hour discussion-based exercise. As in year one, the training and exercise will be customized based upon the improvements of capabilities, the increased preparedness, enhanced detection, and monitoring of your selected ThreatDetect products and updated priorities from your organization/leadership.
By implementing a Program mentality, your organization will be better prepared for, quicker to respond to, and increased awareness to recover from disasters. ThreatAssess will ensure that your capabilities are incorporated into plans, policies, and procedures, foster the relationships between public and private partnerships at the appropriate level and implemented to the greatest extent possible.
